SCHOOL READY FAMILY
CREDENTIAL
Program Introduction and Operation
PROJECT DESCRIPTION Families that
participate in Circle Of Success® programs for one year and who have met
the program standards are awarded a School Readiness Family
Certificate.

PROJECT PURPOSE The purpose of the School
Ready Family project is to reward families for their effort and commitment to
the school readiness of their children. A visual award for these efforts has
been created to continue to motivate the parents and children in school
readiness activities. The award also serves as a goal and transition activity
for out reach workers at the one year anniversary of a family's involvement. It
is hoped the award of being a Yakima or Kittitas Valley School Readiness family
will help the family build bridges with the local school district and
elementary schools.
